Some of the noteworthy cars of the era – like the Lotus Esprit, the Triumph Dolomite Sprint, the Jaguar XJ-S V12, the Ford Capri 3.0S and the Land Rover Range Rover – are esteemed by classic car enthusiasts today as highly as they were by the post World War II generation of the new British business class.
