William Kent founded Kent Brushes in 1777, during the reign of George III. Since that time, Kent’s company has been providing what many consider the world’s best hair and shaving brushes along with other wood and bristle brushes under the Royal Warrants of nine royal reigns. The company has been family owned for all of its 244-year history, first under the Kents and with the end of the male line in 1932, under the direction of Crosby Brushes Ltd. The Crosby family of all genders continues to operate the firm according to the same exacting standards to the present day. Like many niche businesses, Kent has repeatedly endured economic downturns and today distributes its products to over 50 nations worldwide. Our Kent V21 Model Shaving brush was manufactured in the late 1970s-early 1980 and is of mixed boar bristle and badger. It is what is called “old store stock,” in its original box, never sold and never used. Condition: Excellent Dimensions: Box, 2" x 4" x 1".
